The Bride of the Wind

Death is all around us – whether in the loss of loved ones, pets, or dreams, it is never too far away. I have always kept the concept of mortality close. While holding the hands of hospice patients, I used to picture my own last day on earth. I don’t know what comforting thoughts or debilitating regrets I will have, but I know I will die with a grateful heart – for the undeserved privilege of having felt love. Thank you, KC. You were my Forrest Gump, Myshkin, and Jesus.
